WalkHub is a browser plugin that lets you record a sequence of interactions with your browser as a Walkthrough on any website, annotate them and then create a GIF from the sequence. Developed to make it as easy and fast as possible to capture an interaction process with a minimalistic but still meaningful GIF, Walkhub is primarily meant for technical writers and other documentarians who need to explain how a web application works.
WalkHub speeds up the recording through 3 mechanisms:
-The actual interaction process is recorded, so you can update the Walkthrough when something changes.
-We generate an auto suggestion text based on the element you interact with, you can change this text if needed.
-The screenshot recording can be re-run to update the visuals in the GIF when the application changes.
Walkthroughs are generated on WalkHub.net and can be embedded from there as a slideshow Javascript widget or as a simple GIF.
