Clocker is a Google Chrome extension productivity and developer tool that allows the user to track the time spent doing something. Keep track of the time you spend on the web, writing code, playing games, or even reading a book. Clocker allows you to do all of these things! Clocker also sends desktop notifications to users after an hour (by default) has passed, alerting them to take a break. Break notifications can be adjusted to be sent every hour (by default), two hours, or three hours. This concept is based on the Pomodoro Technique, which states that frequent breaks can increase mental agility.
Use: to start a session, simply click main button. The timer will run in the background, even if Google Chrome is closed. Notifications will be sent at the specified time intervals. To stop the timer, either click on the desktop notification or click the main button again. Immediately after ending a session, you will see the session time added to your weekly time spent metric, as well as the all-time spent metric.
I credit Artur Stolear for helping develop this Chrome extension.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
