Many months after Chrome's release of a beautiful dark mode to complement that of Apple's Mojave, Windows 10 users finally received the atrocity that was the version 74 update:
It appears that the same shades of grey that Google used to match Mojave's dark mode, were used for Windows 10. They also must be afraid of the dark because black is very rare in Google's dark mode implementations. I was really loving the clean UI that Google has started pushing and was looking forward to seeing a Windows 10 dark mode that was given the same level of attention as that of Apple's; perhaps it will be fixed in the next version (but I doubt it).
In my opinion, the very small change that this theme provides, makes the current Windows 10 dark mode implementation 10x better. Google could perfect it if only they'd switch their color pallet to the same as Windows 10's file explorer. In the meantime, let me know what you think in the comments.
