GitHub-Jira Link is a Chrome and Firefox extension that uses the branch name on a GitHub pull request page to add a link to the Jira issue corresponding to the pull request. In order for it to work, Jira ticket number must appear in the branch name, the pull request title, or the first comment on the pull request page. For example, for the branch name story/add-feature/ABC-123, the extension will add a link to the Jira issue with ticket number ABC-123.
Setup:
1. Click on the GitHub-Jira-Link icon next to the address bar.
2. Enter your GitHub organization name (the string after github.com/ in a pull request URL).
3. Enter your GitHub repo name (the string after the GitHub organization name in a pull request URL).
4. Enter your Jira organization name (the string before .atlassian.net in a Jira ticket URL).
5. Enter the Jira ticket prefix (the letters before - in the ticket number).
6. Click 'Save'.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
