Using Ghostery’s world renowned tracker blocking technologies combined with ZERO data collection , Ghostery Glow offers a completely private search engine. Additionally, allowing users to select an Ad-free experience with a subscription.
➤ Why did we do it?
The top search engines used by most people create two primary problems:
1. They collect troves of consumer data, including search queries, undermining user privacy.
2. Search results are inundated with ads, making it harder and more time-consuming for users to find what they want.
We did some asking around and came up with some numbers:
* 78.3% of US consumers are concerned about their privacy when using a search engine
* 65.4% of US consumers dislike search ads
Finally, we see these concerns echoed among our own users at even higher rates:
* 92% of our users are worried about privacy when using search engines
* 93% of our users are interested in private search from Ghostery
