Description

Translate text on any webpage into audible Morse code. Simply highlight the desired text, right-click, and select "Morse Player: Start". Morse code is played at the desired speed and tone and each character is shown in a notification box as it's played.

To stop Morse Player, right-click the highlighted text and press "Morse Player: Stop" or simply close the notification box.

Practice copying callsigns! 50 random callsigns are generated based on country prefix. Filter by continent and restrict callsigns to the 27 most common countries based number of licensed amateur radio operators.

Record audio and download it as an Mp3! Checking the "Record" box in the options menu will record audio as it is played and provide a download option.

Speed is adjustable from 13 and 50 words per minute. Tone is adjustable from 300hz to 1200hz.

Updates:
version(1.0.1) Ignore punctuation not commonly used in Morse code. (Only decode period, question mark, comma, and equal sign)

Version(1.0.2) Add Farnsworth timing. Drop lowest speed to 5wpm. Fix bug that caused Morse Player to freeze.

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
