This extension converts hard-coded Gmail links into standard mailto links, allowing them to be opened in a different email program.
There are plenty of extensions to make mailto links open with Gmail, but none that go the other way.
This was designed to allow Google Classroom to work with Outlook, but it should work in on other Google pages and with other programs that handle mailto links.
I also have an extension that make Gmail links open in Outlook Web Access.
