Description

** Troubleshoot and changelogs at the bottom **

The goal of this extension is to improve our lives by adding a message counter at the top of every Jira ticket containing the name of the last message sender with the timestamp for that message.

By clicking on the message counter element you will scroll to the last message of the current ticket!

It also adds a flag icon in case a ticket was flagged with a message and allows you to display the flag message by clicking on it like a toggle.

The messages and the flags can be hidden or displayed by using the extension pop-up option menu dynamically without having to reload the page.

Troubleshoot :

Not working : The extension will automatically authorize urls matching "https://*.jira.com/*" or "https://*.atlassian.net/*", if your Jira domain isn't included, you can manually authorize it in the chrome extension window when clicking on the puzzle icon.

Delay before showing elements : The extension will wait for every required elements to be available in the page before generating its elements. If the page elements are not found, the extension will wait a second and try again after to prevent lazy load problems.

Problem with the message counter : The message counter will try to get the amount written in the "Show XX more comments" button and will only work with alphanumeric numbers so it might not work for some languages not using "0-9".

Version 1.2.2 bugfix : Fixed a bug with header elements displaying on top of each other.

Version 1.2.1 changelog :
- Added support for the "View XX remaining older comments" button with the message counter and active older flag (will now automatically click the button if a flag is active to search for it)
- Fixed flag still showing when its inactive
- Fixed first ticket not showing extension elements when reloading the board view without having any ticket selected
- Added fallback to the "+" symbol if the more comments number can't be parsed to alphanumeric or else

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
