Speaking Exchange is a private social network that connects CNA’s students and seniors over the Internet.
All students really want is to speak English fluently. And here at CNA English school, we are always thinking ofways to improve learning, making it more real and human. So, we thought in a very special group of people: seniors living in retirement communities.
Students want to practice English, and eldery people someone to talk to. Therefore, we create a way for they meet each other: Speaking Exchange, an educationalproject that connects students and seniors over the Internet. Thus, a conversation exercise is also an act of solidarity and personal growth. It is an exchange in which everyone wins.
Speaking Exchange is also an exclusive video chat software for CNA based on WebRTC technology (a high-end technology for Web Real-Time Communications), which is able to register retirement communities, make videos of the conversations and store the content for teacher evaluation.
