A classic dice game to be played as a solitaire game. Compete with people from all over the world to be the best in the daily, monthly and all time rankings.
GENERAL RULES
Yatzy is a game played with 5 dice. The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible by collecting points for the 15 available combinations in the scoreboard.
1.- Gameplay
The player can roll the dice up to 3 times per round. The first time all the dice will be rolled. Then, the player can hold any die as well as rescue any previously held die. Therefore, after the first time in each round, only not held dice are rolled.
The player can enter the points for a combination after each time the dice are rolled. This means that the player does not need to roll the dice 3 times to be able to select a combination.
In every round the player has to choose a combination to enter its points, or place a zero if there is no match. Once a combination is selected, it can not be selected again. The game finishes when the player score points for all the combinations.
2.- Scores
The combinations are divided into 2 sections.
Upper section:
- Ones: the score is the sum of the dice showing the number 1.
- Twos: the score is the sum of the dice showing the number 2.
- Threes: the score is the sum of the dice showing the number 3.
- Fours: the score is the sum of the dice showing the number 4.
- Fives: the score is the sum of the dice showing the number 5.
- Sixes: the score is the sum of the dice showing the number 6.
It is important to bear in mind that, if the sum of the upper section is 63 or more, the player receives 50 bonus points.
Lower section:
- 1 pair: at least two dice showing the same number. The score is the sum of the highest pair.
- 2 pairs: two different pairs of dice. The score is the sum of these two pairs.
- 3 of a kind: three dice showing the same number. The score is the sum of these three dice.
- 4 of a kind: four dice showing the same number. The score is the sum of these four dice.
- Small straight: the combination 1-2-3-4-5 in random order. The score is the sum of all the dice, that is, 15 points.
- Large straight: the combination 2-3-4-5-6 in random order. The score is the sum of all the dice, that is, 20 points.
- Full house: three of a kind plus a different pair. The score is the sum of all the dice.
- Chance: any combination. The score is the sum of all the dice.
- Yatzy: all five dice showing the same number. The score is 50 poins.

When the player rolls the dice, the points that the player would score for each combination are shown grey on each combination's points box or boxes.
The player can click or touch a not previously selected box score, those with grey points, to score its points, which will turn black. On devices with small screen an 'OK' button must be clicked or touched to confirm the selection, that is highlighted with a yellow background.
