Proxi is a technology that allows any individual or business to produce a customized, interactive map for free. The Proxi Chrome Extension lets mappers add and organize interesting locations you find online on your Proxi map(s). Refer back to your maps later! Proxi is the ‘Pinterest of Place’.

The Proxi Chrome Extension generates map points for your Proxi maps so you don’t have to.

Step 1: Install the Proxi Chrome Extension
Step 2: Find a location online that you want to add to your map
Step 3: Highlight the information about the place and click the Proxi extension icon to add the location to one of your Proxi maps. You can categorize the locations as you add them to your map.

If you’re an individual: As you search online for places to go, highlight the spots you want to keep track of and add them to your Proxi map with the click of your mouse. Adding them to your Proxi map is way better than adding them to a physical list because Proxi maps allow you to categorize your map points and get directions when you’re on the go.

If you’re a business or blogger: Populate a Proxi map using the content you already have on your site. Maps are more engaging for readers than lists when displaying information about places.
