To begin using our software extension to open documents using office word, here are the steps you need to do.
Ensure you have microsoft word installed on your computer.
Install our software extension "Open in Office"
Once you install our software, please refresh all your existing Chrome Tabs/close Chrome browser and restart Chrome browser.
Choose the document link you wish to open with via the right click context menu button. You should be able to see our extension option after you install our software and restarted the Chrome browser.
Its that simple, just use the right click context menu to choose ms word when you want to
open a document. You can edit your documents using word office as our software extension will download the word document file when you right click and try to open the docx file using our software.
If you want to open an Excel spreadsheet, you can do so using our software as well. Simply right click the xlsx file link, choose "Open in Office", and then choose "Open in Microsoft Excel", the software extension will download the spreadsheet and help you open the file in Excel.
If you wish to open a powerpoint file, you can do so with our extension. Right click the pptx file link, choose "Open in Office" and then choose "Open in Powerpoint". What this does is it will download and try to open the pptx file inside Powerpoint.
Please note for all the features in this extension to work, you need to have Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint installed on your computer.
