A theme for Ubuntu users who want something dark, especially to fit in with a black or charcoal desktop theme.
The pics show the whole browser in window mode, and a closeup of the top-right corner. In the 2nd pic note the gradient continues into the Find bar (Ctrl+F).
The background for the New Tab page is just something I knocked up quickly, and tried to make it not too big, not too small (it IS just a page you'll look at for 2 seconds before using it to go to a site, but I still see people complaining to other developers about the pics being too small, so hopefully it looks OK maximised and in window mode). I did try an opaque Ubuntu logo, but didn't really like it, and after all this IS an Ubuntu theme, so I'm guessing most people could handle looking at it for 1.5 seconds before moving onto a site.
This theme is nice and dark (without going totally to black, which is kind of boring) and quite usable, so would compliment any Ubuntu system with a dark theme.
If you want a much more vibrant Ubuntu theme in rich browns, check out https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/comoeeifdcphanbbhmjdhjoelhkekflo. Stay tuned for more Ubuntu themes!
PS: Please actually install this theme before commenting (you can hit Undo, after all), as commenting on screenshots and not actually trying the theme is somewhat strange. Also, if you're not an Ubuntu user, then this theme is probably of no interest to you.
Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
