Viewdown provides a quick and easy way to view markdown documents right in Chrome. It supports local and remote files with these extensions: .md, .markdown, .mdown, .mkdn, .mkd, .mdwn, .mdtxt, .mdtext, .text
Version 0.6 now includes all themes from Bootswatch as well as the ability to change markdown options and preview the html source generated from your markdown files.
1) Install Viewdown extension from chrome web store
2) Check "Allow access to file URLs" in chrome://extensions
3) Start viewing your markdown documents in chrome.
