The Tanuki are Japanese raccoon dogs. They are famous in Japanese folklore and art. In ancient Japanese legends the tanuki are a type of ghost called “bake-danuki.” Tanukis are shapeshifters who like to trick and fool people to make them seem stupid. A Tanuki is typically depicted with an over-sized scrotum to symbolize financial luck. This is why our Tanuki App showers coins when the time is up!
Choose Tanukis and art using the buttons on the top right corner of the app. Set minutes and seconds using the buttons at the bottom of the app. Hit “START” and watch the swinging begin!
