When selling on Amazon third party sellers can use the free tool Fulfilment by Amazon Revenue Calculator on the Amazon website. This is a really useful tool to find out the fees and costs involved when selling products on the Amazon marketplace. However it does not include the VAT that is added to the fees for none VAT registered sellers, leading to inaccurate potential profits (worst case showing a profit when it would in fact mean a loss).
The “VAT on Fees” extension provides additional information on the Revenue Calculator page, showing what the VAT will be and how it affects the profit and profit margin. It also shows you the ROI (Return Of Investment) based on your cost price. Helping make more informed and profitable buying decisions.
