Description

UPDATE: new icons
UPDATE: now the extension won't sometimes populate authorization window

This simple extension communicates with Google Calendar API's quick add function. Just type in an event in a natural way like "Meet my boss at 5 pm in her office". This extension would then help you create a event and display the event information as well as the url to the event in the GCalendar.

** OAuth Needed **
You will need a google calendar account.
The extension asks for OAuth grant when first launches. You can clear access token in the options page.
If "add event" button happens not work, try re-grant access.

** Multi Calendar Support **
If you have many calendars, you can choose which calendar to write in the options page. Default calendar is the first one in your list.

** About the icon **
The original icon is a lovely sketch of my girlfriend. To make this extension more formal, more calendar-related, I replaced it with the current ugly one. Hope I can draw a better one in the summer.

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
