The ScamDoc extension is an online risk assessment tool that informs you in real-time of the potential risks of any sites you visit. An easy to read color indicator icon will be displayed according to the risk level. When you surf risky sites, the icon turns red and a window appears in front of your eyes to catch your attention.
The rest of the time, when you navigate on less risky areas, the extension knows how to be forgotten but stays within sight of your eyes near the top search bar. This extension is the ultimate weapon to guard against online fraud!
HOW DOES SCAMDOC WORK?
To protect you and thus display a real-time confidence score, the extension uses an Artificial Intelligence algorithm. It is a statistical model created from lists of fraudulent and trusted sites designated by a community of millions of Internet users.
When a site catches your eye and invites you to make a purchase, a simple click on the extension icon displays more details: Confidence score, Owner information, technical data on the server ...
