Before you install:
1. $heriff is not intended for user under the age of 13.
2. From version 0.1.1 and later, the tool is also fetching product prices from other $heriff users within the same country using the webRTC protocol.
$heriff is an experimental service that allows to search for traces of price discrimination in the Internet. We want to see whether e-retailers vary their prices dynamically based on the information that they can collect online for the potential customer (such as her location, browser/OS, incoming link, navigation history, etc.).
We encourage the users to enable cookie and browser history donation from the options menu. By default the add-on is not collecting any information from the user's browser. When donation is enable we collect only cookies from the selected website (and third party domains) that the request is send. We don't collect any session cookies or personal data. Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
