TL;DR
Easily search Bower for external file links to use in CodePen, JSFiddle, JSBin demos.
----
When creating a new front-end demo in your preferred demo-creator web app, i.e. CodePen, JSFiddle, JSBin, etc, and you want to use an external JavaScript or CSS library that isn't bundled with that web app; what do you do?
- Leave the web app
- Search GitHub/Bower/NPM/CDN for that asset
- Find the right link to the asset
- Copy the url
- Come back to the web app
- Paste the asset url into the respective text input for external resources in the web app
It can get pretty tedious if you want to use a couple of different external resources for one demo.
How Resource Finder helps:
- In the web app, open extension popup
- type resource name
- click Copy-to-Clipboard button next to resource link
- Paste the resource url into the respective text input for external resources
Never leave the web app and always get the latest version of the resource.
Additional Features:
- autocomplete past searches
- caches last search results
Future Features:
- searches NPM (and other package repos?)

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
