In the current version this extension needs you to click into the conversation you want to download. In future versions, it may allow you to select multiple conversations from the inbox view.
To be clear: this isn't doing any magic. It's merely automating the manual process that anyone can do of opening the conversation --> expanding all messages --> clicking on More --> download message on each message you want to keep.
