Bonjourr is a new startpage for Google Chrome. Lightweight, beautiful, minimal, customizable and inspired by iOS, it has everything you could need for when you open a new tab. Be greeted by a minimal clock and weather widget, and strike a balance between serenity by looking at the beautiful backgrounds and productivity while controlling the Quick Links you want to see.

Bonjourr relies on the work of Unsplash’s talented photographers, it comes with 4K backgrounds that will sublime your new tabs. Dynamic Backgrounds option changes your background everyday from a regularly updated selection. You can choose your own backgrounds for a more personal experience and activate an automatic dark mode as well.

Quick links, to access your favorite websites, can be added manually, as to not bother you by displaying websites you don’t need to see on new tabs An optional search bar lets your search the web with a variety of different engines, such as Google, Startpage, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and more. You can choose between updating the weather according to you geolocation or setting it up manually.

Even with all these options, Bonjourr stays very lightweight and quick. It opens in the blink of an eye.

Bonjourr is available in English, French, Swedish, Polish, Russian and Dutch, is open source and was developed with your privacy in mind: it doesn’t require any permission except your geolocation, if you want.
