Chromeのバーにアイコンが常駐し、アイコンクリックするとメモを打ち込めます。
ここに（例えばUTF-8等で作っておいた）テキストからコピペして、saveボタンをクリックすると、シフトJISテキストファイルでのダウンロードリンクが生成されるというものです。
ダウンロードリンクをクリックしてテキストファイルをローカルに入手することができます。
Chromebookで日本語テキストファイルをシフトJISで保存したいために作成しました。
本Chrome拡張動作中、設定項目等の保存先はchrome.storage機能を利用してます。
設定項目はローカルのChromeに保存され、Chromeアカウントにより同期可能です。
メモ本文のオートセーブはローカルのChromeにのみデータ保存され、Chromeアカウントにより同期することはできません。その端末のみです。
（chrome.storage機能について、具体的にWindows10ではユーザープロファイル中の、%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome配下などにキャッシュされるようです。これはOSやChromeのバージョンによって異なる可能性があります）
ver.0.6.1: chromebook用アプリsjispadの機能を取り込みました。Chromeアプリ終了に向けて、継続予定のChrome拡張機能に統合移行しました。オートセーブ機能、フォントサイズ指定機能、検索機能、置換機能等が実装されています。
ver.0.5.0: オプション画面を追加し、画面の大きさの設定と、改行コードの設定機能を追加しました。
ver.0.4.0: ファイルの読み込み機能を追加しました。
ver.0.3.0: Ctrl+dで日付時間を文頭挿入、Ctrl+qで消去、Ctrl+iで新規エディタウインドウを開くショートカット機能を追加しました。
