This extension adds 4 items to the right-click context menu over selections. You can either encrypt selection or decrypt it to the clipboard or as a replacement to the original text. The extension uses your passphrase as SHA-256 private key and a random public key to encrypt or decrypt the selection.
This extension can be used for instance to encrypt your passwords while sending an email or when you want to archive some important data.
Important note: there is no way to decrypt the encrypted text if the passphrase is forgotten. To protect user privacy the extension does NOT store your passphrases.
