Avatar: the Last Airbender, also known as Avatar: the Legend of Aang, is a very popular TV series. It exists out of three seasons (or 'books'): water, earth and fire. It is being aired on Nickelodeon.
The series follows the adventures of protagonist Aang and his friends, who must bring peace and balance to the world by ending the Fire Lord's war against the other three nations. In doing so he should master all four elements.
Avatar: the Last Airbender is followed by the Legend of Korra.
In this theme I included the main characters from the first season; Aang, his friends Sokka and Katara, and one of the main villains: prince Zuko.
