This extension allows to replace english words on a page with its phonetic transcription( so "the quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog" becomes "ðə kwɪk braʊn fɑks dʒəmps óʊvɜr ə léɪzi dɔg" ). Just open any webpage and click the extension icon on a browser toolbar to convert text of a webpage(you can always click again to return the original text back).
This extension uses standard IPA(International Phonetic Alphabet) to transcribe words. You can read more about IPA and its letters at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Phonetic_Alphabet
