Performance Scorecard analyzes web pages for compliance with known best practices for page performance and delivers specific recommendations about how to improve the performance of the page.
This extension is a community supported successor to the Google PageSpeed Insights extension that was previously available in the Chrome Web Store. As such, it uses the PageSpeed SDK to analyze pages for performance best practices. The rule set used to analyze pages is exactly the same as before. Only the look and feel of the extension has been changed to reflect that this is now a community supported extension.
This extension provides a quick and simple way to evaluate pages directly from the browser. It is able to analyze any page that you are able to browse to. This is especially useful when you need to analyze a page on an internal network or a page that requires a user to login before being viewed.
