Description

A theme for Ubuntu users who want something dark, yet want to stick with the "human" theme of browns.

The pics show the whole browser in window mode, and a closeup of the top-right corner. In the 2nd pic note the gradient continues into the Find bar (Ctrl+F).

The background for the New Tab page is just something I knocked up quickly, and tried to make it not too big, not too small (it IS just a page you'll look at for 2 seconds before using it to go to a site, but I still see people complaining to other developers about the pics being too small, so hopefully it looks OK maximised and in window mode).

If you want a much more vibrant Ubuntu theme in rich browns, check out Ubuntu Darkly Human
(https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/comoeeifdcphanbbhmjdhjoelhkekflo)
or if you prefer black/charcoal, check out Ubuntu Darkly Charcoal
(https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/jjekofhljmbijhelagbihakhbnognjfj).

PS: Please actually install this theme before commenting (you can hit Undo, after all), as screenshots can be deceptive (I'm sure you've tried themes that didn't look as good as the screenshots, and likewise ones that actually looked better when in action).

I am looking for more ideas for themes, so please give detailed info on what elements could be changed to your liking, and how ("I don't like it" is not exactly helpful!).

Also, if you're not an Ubuntu user, then this theme is probably of no interest to you.

Stay tuned for more Ubuntu themes!

What has inspired us?

Extore is a team of professionals who are passionate about creating extensions for web browsers. This devotion also gives us opportunity to appreciate work of other people. We get inspired by useful, open source extensions made by developers all over the world. Our strong belief is that one should share helpful add-ons with others. That’s why we’d like to present you our ever-growing list of favourite extensions that have inspired us. Moreover, as you probably have already learned, sometimes struggling for the best brings an end to the good. Talking about add-ons it often turns out that an upgrade is worse then previous version. Also it can become really tricky to get back to the beloved version of your favourite extension. That’s why we’re going to make not only the latest, but all versions of our favourite (and we hope yours too) add-ons available for download. No more compromises, just stick to the version you really like!
